The Krel Central a.s. holding continues the tradition of Elektrocentrály Karel Řehák, which since 1993 built its name among major suppliers of generators, backup power systems and technical solutions for industry, the public sector and critical infrastructure.

We continue the tradition of building on a solid technical foundation. Today we are building a modern technology company with its own development and project facilities and the ambition to connect traditional engineering know-how with the fields that will define the coming decade – residential real estate, software development, artificial intelligence, robotics and smart energy.

Residential real estate

In recent years we have expanded the company's strategic focus to include residential real estate. We concentrate on preparing acquisitions and project adjustments of large-scale housing projects and portfolios that already exist and generate cash flow, but which – given their technical, operational or urban condition – require systematic care, modernisation and a new approach.

Our goal is not mere property management. We want to create projects with long-term economic sense, gradually increase the value of the housing stock and at the same time bring visible improvements in housing quality, safety, public space and the everyday life of residents.

In this area we combine experience from energy, technology, data analytics, automation and modern property management. It is precisely the combination of a technical background and an investment approach that allows us to look at residential projects comprehensively – from operating costs through revitalisation to the long-term development of the whole area, with maximum potential for growth of the real estate portfolio.

Software development and our own technology development

Since 2022 we have been building our own software development division, which works on projects ranging from web and mobile applications to complex systems with Web2/Web3 elements, augmented reality, data analytics and automation.

We develop backend systems, digital interfaces, analytical tools, reporting dashboards and tailor-made customer platforms. We deliver our products end-to-end – from needs analysis through UX/UI design and development to testing, implementation and long-term maintenance.

For us, software is not a standalone, isolated service. It is a tool with which we connect energy, real estate, data, automation, AI and new business models into one functional whole.

Artificial intelligence in real-world deployment

Building on many years of experience in technical fields, automation and software development, we have expanded our activities to include artificial intelligence.

We don't build sci-fi. We build working systems that analyse data, automate processes, validate information, communicate with customers and support decision-making in real operation.

We develop in particular validation AI systems for data checking, AI assistants and communication agents, micro-decision modules, analytical tools for tracking user behaviour, sentiment and digital potential, as well as tools for audit, compliance and documentation.

Our goal is to bring AI where it has a measurable benefit – to business processes, technical operations, customer communication, data management, marketing, sales and the management of larger projects.

2026: humanoid robots at Krel Central a.s.

With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence and the dramatic acceleration in the development of humanoid robots, we have also launched activities in robotics. The aim of this division is to capture the potential of a sector that can fundamentally change industry, services, education, safety and everyday work processes.

In robotics we focus primarily on developing software for robot behaviour, building an application marketplace, creating our own development and testing facilities, and training operators and owners of humanoid robots.

We currently concentrate mainly on Unitree G1 humanoid robots, and in 2026 we plan to expand our robot fleet with the Unitree R1 and H2 models. Our ambition is not merely to present robots, but to genuinely test their use, develop software for them and look for concrete deployment scenarios in practice.
