Basic functions of the RG series automatic transfer panels

• The installed intelligent multi-position choke servo drive for petrol generators, instead of the conventional step-wise two-position electromagnet control, ensures high operational reliability of the start and running of the petrol generator even at low temperatures, including short repeated starts during brief public grid outages.
• When out-of-tolerance public grid voltage occurs, the RG control unit automatically starts the generator and, by automatically switching the backed-up circuit to the generator, protects important technology even when permanent overvoltage of the public grid occurs from its sudden unloading.
• The automatic start units are fitted with contactors (in AC3) with mutual 1x mechanical and 2x electrical interlocking, thereby completely preventing feeding power back into the public grid.
• The backup source tests itself automatically according to the set parameters and the test results are recorded in the control unit's internal memory.
• An electronic record (log) of technological states and faults allows quick checking of operation, including diagnostics of the backup source.
• The control system prevents damage to the generator when its output is exceeded.
• We assemble ATS RG10/30 series control panels according to the individual requirements of the user.
