Software development

The skeletons of humanoid robots (hardware) are just one piece of the whole puzzle of future deployment. The real value arises only in the layer of learning, motor skills, control and autonomy - that is, in what the robot "can do" and how reliably it manages it in a real environment. We therefore focus primarily on software development and its scalability: from training and adaptation to safe updates and deployment across multiple types of environments.

Developer marketplace

We are building a marketplace of current and future developers who can control, program and extend humanoid robots with new functions. The goal is to create a service that can quickly solve robot owners' problems - from minor adjustments to complex integrations and individual solutions. Bringing developers together is one of the key elements of Krel Central a.s.'s strategy for the 2026-2030 period, because it will allow know-how and capacity to be scaled significantly faster than with an internal team.

Application marketplace

We are developing a marketplace of ready-made solutions for controlling humanoid robots and at the same time a Requests portal for the development of individual applications and custom code. In this way we connect real market demand with verified developers and shorten the path from idea to functional deployment. The application marketplace, together with the Requests portal and the developer association, forms one of the key elements of Krel Central a.s.'s strategy for the 2026-2030 period.

Operator marketplace

We are responding to market demand: there are thousands of use cases for humanoid robots, but without proper commissioning, operation, service and maintenance, a robot remains just an expensive device with no real value. That is why we are preparing a comprehensive training concept for humanoid robot operators, with the aim of building a network of operators/workers who will be able to commission robots, oversee their operation and handle common operational situations at future owners.

Data hub

Developers, operators, applications, testing and development - the 2026-2030 strategy structures these elements so that we obtain a volume of data significantly larger than standard processes in an ordinary testing regime. Data is the fuel for improving autonomy, motor skills, safety and application quality, and at the same time it speeds up the iteration of the entire ecosystem. We are therefore building a data hub and keeping the whole chain very close: from collection through evaluation to deploying changes back into practice.

Humanoids in education

We are aware of the high market potential of humanoid robots in certain segments - and it is very likely that education will be among the first. We are already actively testing this field: our educational and skills courses for the Operator role are, in the current phase, largely carried out directly using our humanoid robots. So we don't teach "theory about robots", but operate strictly in a "robots teach about robotics" mode, while verifying everything directly in practice - and in doing so we gain valuable data and know-how for further scaling.

Learning & Motor skills

For humanoid robots, the quality of learning and motor skills is decisive – that is, how quickly and safely the robot adapts to a new environment, objects and tasks. We focus on the combination of simulation and real training (sim-to-real), so that development is not limited by expensive and slow iterations on hardware. The key for us is mastering fine manipulation, stable walking, working with tools and safe behaviour in the presence of people.

Security forces + integrated rescue system

We see high potential for humanoids in security forces and the integrated rescue system – where the environment is risky, time is decisive and human presence is dangerous. We are preparing scenarios for reconnaissance, logistics, work in smoke-filled or contaminated spaces, evacuation assistance and real-time support for operators. This also includes an emphasis on auditability, operational discipline and clearly defined limits of autonomy.

Development centre - Our robots

We are building our own development centre and robotic fleet, which will enable continuous testing, data collection and the rapid deployment of updates. We don't want to be dependent on the "availability" of other people's equipment – our own robots mean iteration speed, real operational experience and long-term scalability. The result should be a standardised environment for development, benchmarking and the safe verification of new functions.

"Tailor-made humanoid" - Pilot project

We are preparing a pilot project where we deploy a "tailor-made" humanoid for specific partners and operations – with a clearly defined goal, measurable KPIs and a scaling plan. Practical usability is essential for us: integration into processes, return on investment and real benefits compared to alternatives. We treat pilots as a managed learning cycle that improves the software, training and service model.

Operator training

A good operator is often more important for successful deployment than the hardware itself. We are creating a training framework from basic commissioning to advanced work with applications, safety procedures and incident resolution. The goal is a standardised certification and a clear methodology, so that a robot owner has access to people who can quickly deliver value and keep operations stable.

Smart home

The smart home is a natural space for a humanoid, but only if the robot can safely integrate into the ecosystem of devices, scenarios and user habits. We focus on connection with IoT, voice control, security features and the automation of routine activities. We place emphasis on simplicity – the user must not feel that they are "managing a robot", but that the robot helps and works.

Humanoid robot association

We are actively creating the market and standards together - which is why we are preparing a platform to connect companies, developers, operators, schools and institutions - with the aim of sharing best practices, safety frameworks and ethical principles. The association has a single goal: to speed up the adoption of humanoids in the Czech Republic/EU and to simplify dialogue with regulators and industry.

Partner HUB for the developer marketplace

In addition to the online marketplace, we are building a partner HUB - a place where development, testing and the real needs of customers come together. A base will be created for workshops, hackathons, integrations and support for teams developing applications for humanoids. The HUB will speed up developer onboarding and increase the quality of solutions thanks to a direct link to data and operational experience.

Application marketplace

We see the application marketplace as both a distribution channel and a "quality standard" for robotic solutions. Every application must have a clear description of functions, compatibility, a security profile and continuous updates. It will also include a requests portal, where the customer specifies a task and the developer/partner delivers a solution with a guaranteed scope and SLA.

Operator marketplace

The operator marketplace will connect the demand from robot owners with verified operators - locally and remotely, depending on the type of deployment. We are creating a system of qualifications, ratings, availability and work scenarios, so that deploying a humanoid is not a "one-off event" but a long-term sustainable operation. This solves a real market pain point: who brings the robot to life, sets up the processes and maintains quality.

Grant programmes and pilot projects

Part of the 2026–2030 strategy is active work with grants and pilot programmes - so as to speed up verification in practice and reduce risk for the first customers. We map suitable calls, build consortia and prepare pilot packages with a clear implementation plan. The goal is the rapid verification of the value of humanoids in specific segments and subsequent scaling.

Service & Maintenance

Robotics without service = a light bulb without electricity. We are building a service concept from remote diagnostics through preventive maintenance to the availability of spare parts and trained service partners. We want the robot owner to have certainty: clear response times, predictive maintenance and the minimisation of downtime.

Wear simulation

Service life and reliability cannot be "estimated", they must be measured. We are building models and test scenarios that simulate the long-term load on joints, gears, batteries and sensors in various regimes. We link this data directly to predictive maintenance and the design of service intervals.

Adaptation for clean environments

A number of applications require operation in a clean or regulated environment (laboratories, manufacturing, food, healthcare). We are preparing a concept for adapting materials, surfaces and seals, including procedures for cleaning, disinfection and limiting contamination. The goal is safe and standardised deployment where an ordinary humanoid is not enough.

Ethics

Autonomy and working among people require clear rules. We understand ethics practically: transparent logging, traceable decision-making, human oversight, privacy protection and limits on what the robot may and may not do. We are building a governance framework that is usable in real operation and stands up to partners and auditors.

Healthcare

Healthcare is one of the strongest but also most demanding segments. We focus on supporting roles: logistics, staff assistance, moving materials, simple routine tasks and supporting patients in non-clinical activities. The emphasis is on safety, responsibility, integration into processes and gradual pilot verification.

Security audits

We address security from the outset as a combination of cybersecurity and operational (functional) safety. We are preparing audit frameworks for applications, robo-GDPR and infrastructure - including vulnerability testing, access management, update policy and security modes for incidents. The goal is that scaling the ecosystem does not mean scaling risks.
